Responsible Gaming
For the majority of our guests, gambling, when done responsibly, is part of the entertainment experience. However, we also realize that for a small segment of our population, gambling is not entertainment.Boyd Gaming Corporation has assumed a leadership role within the industry regarding the research and education for compulsive and underage gambling. We are a founding member of the National Center on Responsible Gaming, the first national organization exclusively devoted to funding scientific research on pathological and youth gambling. In addition, we support the National Council on Problem Gambling and its local affiliate state councils.
As a responsible community member, Boyd Gaming is committed to promoting responsible gambling practices. We firmly believe that public awareness and education is key in this effort.
