Responsible Gaming Week

  • Boyd Gaming's training and development department conducts informal refresher training on:
    • The Company's policies and procedures regarding problem gambling, self-limiting access and self exclusion
    • The AGA's Code of Conduct and how it is part of our day-to-day operation
    • Where employees and dependants can get assistance with a gambling problem
  • Developed word puzzles based on company policy and the AGA's Code of Conduct. Puzzles were made available to employees as a fun way to increase their awareness on those issues surrounding responsible gaming practices
  • Ran print ads in newspapers and print journals that are dedicated to public awareness of RGEW and the Company's support of responsible gaming
  • Boyd Gaming employees wore ribbons promoting the campaign. Coordinated table tents and posters were displayed throughout gaming areas and a variety of educational brochures were made available
  • Issues regarding responsible gaming were communicated to employees via plasma screen displays in the employee dining rooms
  • Problem gambling pieces, including brochures and posters with helpline info, are displayed and available for patrons at all Boyd Gaming properties
