Boyd destinations nationwide helped make the season of giving brighter with the Company’s annual holiday competitions, “Wreaths of Hope” and “Trees of Hope.” More than 160 charities nationwide participated in the 2021 holiday competition, as Boyd properties across the country awarded a combined prize pool of more than $180,000.
 
A total of 22 Boyd destinations nationwide participated in last year’s Wreaths and Trees of Hope competitions. Winners were decided directly by Boyd guests and team members, who were invited to vote for their favorite charities on social media and in-person at select participating properties. More than 100,000 votes were cast nationwide.
 
Now in its 14^th year, Wreaths and Trees of Hope set new records in 2021 for total prize pool and number of participating properties and non-profits. Since the competition began in 2007, Boyd has awarded more than $1 million to non-profits across the country.
