Last month, Boyd Gaming marked the start of construction on its all-new Treasure Chest Casino in Kenner, Louisiana.

Turning a vision into a reality, Boyd Gaming is investing more than $100 million to reinvent and reimagine the property to replace the existing riverboat casino, which has been in operation since 1994. The single-level, land-based facility will feature a spacious 47,000-square-foot casino, new restaurants and bars, nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, a FanDuel-branded sports book, and ample parking adjacent to the casino entrance.

“With this project, we will be taking this property to another level… and with it, our investment in this great community,” said the President and CEO of Boyd Gaming, Keith Smith. “We believe Treasure Chest is going to be an entertainment experience this entire community is going to enjoy and a destination the community can take pride in.”
