Boyd Gaming and Commissioner Justin Jones Help to Preserve Our Great State

4/6/2023

Recently, the Boyd Gaming Talent Team partnered with Get Outdoors Nevada to help clean up more than 50 pounds of trash at Cashman School Park. Commissioner Justin Jones was in attendance to help fulfill their mission of connecting Nevadans and visitors from all backgrounds and ages to the state’s diverse outdoor places.

Get Outdoors Nevada is committed to preserving Nevada’s public lands, urban trails and community parks. Many of their efforts and programs focus on the needs and lives of families and school children, especially those who are at-risk and often have limited opportunity to experience the great outdoors.

Randee Dalton, Employment Center and Talent Acquisition Manager at Boyd Gaming who volunteered for the clean-up event, said “I’m happy to work for a Company that not only encourages us to get out into the communities we serve, but also enables us to do so. The concept of giving back was instilled in me at a young age and I am grateful to have been a part of this experience.”

Thank you to the 50+ Boyd Gaming volunteers and Get Outdoors Nevada for helping keep our community clean.
