Recently, IP Casino Resort Spa hosted a successful New Orleans Hall of Fame Experience as part of the seventh annual Saints Hall of Fame celebration. Each year, the organization inducts one to two members into its Hall of Fame and celebrates with a slate of events. This year’s festivities included a grand reception, golf scramble and baseball game.

Guests attended a sold-out reception at IP, featuring prominent former football players from the New Orleans city team and Saints Hall of Fame honorees. Attendees had the opportunity to ask for autographs and photos with their favorite sports legends, as well as enjoy a live auction of select items and a silent auction of black-and-gold sports memorabilia. A photobooth was set up where guests could also have their picture taken with the trophy won by the New Orleans team during the 2009-2010 season’s Big Game.

This year’s Saints Hall of Fame inductee, Jabari Greer, spoke to the room of 250 attendees and praised the former Hall of Fame honorees for paving the way for him and many others in the league. Greer, who will be formally inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame on December 8, was joined by a number of esteemed sportsmen, including Michael Lewis, La’Roi Glover, Dalton Hilliard, Steve Sidwell and many others.
