In celebration of Military Appreciation Month, Boyd Gaming partnered with USO Nevada to recognize service members from Nellis and Creech Air Force Bases by hosting a Raiders Fantasy Camp at Allegiant Stadium.

Service members began their day with a tour of Allegiant Stadium, where they were welcomed with custom Raiders jerseys inside the team’s locker room. Participants then tested their skills with several football drills on the field, including the opportunity to kick a field goal. To show their support, Jalen McKenzie, Offensive Tackle on the Las Vegas Raiders, and the Raiderettes made special appearances throughout the event, cheering on the service members.

After training, service members then enjoyed a private lunch and Marianne Boyd Johnson, Executive Chairman of the Board for Boyd Gaming and Sam Boyd Jr., Manager Corporate Security Training and Safety at Boyd Gaming and USO Nevada Advisory Council Member, presented USO Nevada with a $25,000 donation to support their Deployed Family Outings Program—a monthly outing where meals, toys and family-care packages are distributed to family members of currently deployed troops.
